Founder of Prairie Coast Counselling
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor living and working on the Unceded and traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I am a White Settler, daughter and dog mama dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families overcome emotional challenges, build stronger relationships, and connect more deeply with themselves.
My passion for therapy began as a young adult seeking counselling for myself, and experiencing first hand the power in uncovering patterns keeping me stuck. Working with a therapist helped me process what I was going through in a safe space, and forge an intentional path forward. I understand that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, but my goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel empowered to explore your feelings and work through life’s difficulties.
I specialize in trauma-informed and attachment-based therapy, blending evidence-based approaches with a personalized touch. My practice is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. I strive to help my clients peel back the layers of their experiences and rediscover their inner truth and wisdom, as to live their lives more authentically.
At Prairie Coast Counselling, we focus on creating meaningful, lasting change by addressing the root causes of emotional pain and relational struggles. Our approach is holistic and trauma-informed, which means that we consider the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and how past experiences shape the present.
Helping clients explore the emotional bonds that shape their relationships, working to heal past wounds and create healthier connections.
Supporting individuals, couples, and families in strengthening emotional bonds, improving communication, and building emotional security within themselves and with others.
Assisting clients in understanding the different parts of themselves and harmonizing inner conflicts for greater emotional well-being.
Offering a compassionate space to process trauma and develop resilience through approaches like Eye Movement Desensization Reprocessing (EMDR) and polyvagal theory.
Ensuring therapy is inclusive and culturally sensitive, with a focus on challenging internalized systems of oppression and integrating all aspects of your identity.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are committed to deepening their self-awareness, improving their relationships, and finding lasting emotional healing. Whether you’re dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, experience the world as a neurodivergent person, or want support deconstructing internalized systems of oppression, I’m here to provide the compassionate and skillful attention you seek. Let’s figure this out together.
Whether you’re seeking individual counselling, couples therapy, or family support, We're here to help you explore your emotions and relationships with compassion and care. Contact us today to schedule a session and start working toward the healing, growth, and connection you deserve.
